EVERYDAY SOCIAL® was born in Karuizawa from this simple yet profound idea: that life’s greatest meaning comes from connection. In the wake of the pandemic, when people felt isolated and disconnected, our founders created a club where residents could come together—not for competition, but for belonging. What began with a few players quickly grew into the Karuizawa Pickleball Club, a vibrant, volunteer-driven community where sport became the language of friendship and the foundation for a healthier lifestyle.
Today, with over 250 members spanning children to seniors in their 80s, we are united by one common goal: to live meaningful lives through shared experiences, both on and off the court. The bonds we create in play extend far beyond the game—becoming friendships, memories, and a sense of belonging that lasts a lifetime.
